Barhi dates are the sweetest of all dates and resemble a butterscotch candy in taste. These are ingenious to the Arab peninsula. It is usually eaten when it is ripe i.e. reaches the golden yellow state known as "Ratab". They can be refrigerated for months as they are also eaten in a crunchy brown state. We have grown more than 50 tones of barhi dates this season in our farm.
